Karunamayi is a Lucia Light Guide and practitioner of Bhakti and Tantra Yoga. She is also the founder of Karunamayi and Full Power Gems, an emerging body of work centered around gemstones and the astrological traditions of India.
Her spiritual practice began in 1998, when, at the age of 19, she moved into a Vedic ashram and immersed herself in the practices of Bhakti Yoga. Devotional practice has remained a central part of her life ever since. Over the years, her path has expanded to include Tantra Yoga, embodiment, somatic work and the exploration of altered and expanded states of consciousness.
India has been an important part of that path. Karunamayi spent eight months living and studying there and continues to return each year for extended periods of practice, study, pilgrimage, and time in sacred places.
Her growing work with gemstones and Vedic astrology has emerged naturally from her connection with India and its spiritual traditions.
As a Lucia Light Guide, Karunamayi brings this background into a simple and grounded approach to working with light. She is interested in the ways light, sound, embodiment, and expanded states can support relaxation, self-inquiry, creativity, and meaningful inner experience.
Her intention is not to prescribe what an experience should mean, but to create a thoughtful, supportive space in which people can explore their own inner landscape and discover what arises.
